Baby Seal Ocean Animal Ornament

A baby seal, four inches long, with real sand set into it. Run a thumb across and you can feel the grit. Flow Art Studios does not paint sand on, they put sand in, which is why the surface has texture where you expect a smooth ornament.

Seals are the right subject for this. Anyone who has walked out to the rookery down the coast has watched the pups do exactly nothing for an hour, and this one has that same settled look about it.

• Baby seal ornament
• Real sand you can feel
• 4 inches long
• Handmade, so each one varies

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary. It hangs on a tree in December and it works just as well the rest of the year on a window latch or a shelf hook, which is where most of ours end up.

It makes a good small gift for somebody who lives inland and misses the coast, which is most of the people who walk into the shop.
