Genuine Turquoise Ring — Fine Silver — Size 5 1/2

Genuine turquoise, in a shade of blue that does not need to be talked up. It is the blue people already have in mind when they say turquoise, and finding a stone that actually lands there is most of the work.

I set it in fine silver with a sterling silver band. Fine silver is the softer, brighter of the two, and it holds a stone gently. Sterling makes the better band because it takes daily wear without going out of round. Using both is the reason the ring looks the way it does at the top and still behaves the way it should at the finger.
